Nurturing Parenting Classes

In the parenting classes, parents learn how to deal with the stress of being a parent; as well as developing better communication skills, learning appropriate discipline approaches and positive behavior management. There is no cost for this 14 week program.

Supervised Visitations

Offering a safe, neutral and nurturing environment for the families we serve within our community in order to fulfill the need of supervised visits. Our goal through the Supervised Visitation service is to enhance the relationship between visiting parent and child(ren) while maintaining the safety and well-being of the child(ren), parents and staff.
(There is an income-based fee for this service)

Infant Supply Pantry

We all face struggles from time to time- we want to offer a helping hand to the parents in our community that may be facing hardship. 

At the Sunshine Center, we have items in our Infant Supply Pantry such as: diapers, wipes, formula, baby food, (and in limited quantity) baby clothes and blankets.

Counseling Services

The Sunshine Center offers free counseling services for child and adult victims of abuse and neglect. Our therapists are licensed and trained to assist adult victims of domestic abuse as well as children, teens, and young adults.
